These woods would have been unpassable 2 years ago. The Monastery is pruning all of the trees up to 8 feet high.

These "Pentecost Flowers" bloomed during the first day of Pentecost. Every year they bloom only during the first week of the Orthodox Pentecost, regardless of the date.
